Now that Easter’s been and gone, it might as well be spring.
This weekend has been so very springlike. A bit of sun, a bit of rain. Has anyone seen any Daffodils yet? Those are my favourite sign of spring.
Last year we wrote this blog about garden products. To add to that list, and in honour of this hint of spring, here are our very best ideas for the garden.
First things first. Keep your clothes protected with a gardening apron.
Encourage your little ones to join you outdoors. A Denys & Fielding Budding Gardeners gift box may prove to be just the right incentive.
If planting seeds is your thing, the next thing to do is to scatter some seedballs. Anywhere you want blossoms to grow is right. Bees and butterflies will love this one.
Speaking of bees, Spring is probably the time to make sure that pollination is at maximum efficiency. Boost the chances of that by providing a home to solitary bees.
Get the mud and grime off your hands after all that pottering about. Clean hands are important.
If you want a place from which you can oversee the activity in your garden, hang a Pearpod from a tree to spend a lazy sunny afternoon or two.
Planning to linger late? Make sure you take a blanket to stay warm, or to snuggle in.

Preeti is the Marketing Manager at Blue Patch. Born and raised in India, she spent some time in the US, completing a degree in Psychology and Biology, after which she moved to the UK in 2010 to study an MSc in Finance and Management. She can often be found obsessing over her plants, trying to clamp down on an ever-increasing collection of nail polish or exploring and taking photos of random corners of London. While she does not have a garden (thank you flat-living), she does have a multitude of houseplants.
