Is Veganism here to stay?

 in Sustainable Makers Tags

The rise in animal-free diets and products is ever increasing, with consumers becoming more concerned about sustainability and clean eating.

Small businesses across the British Isles are rising up to the demand and proving that veganism is not a fad.

In fact, data released by Google News shows that there has been an increase of 90 per cent in ‘vegan’ searches. This along with the 185% jump in the number of vegan products launched in the UK between 2012 and 2016 according to Mintel, suggests that the market is fast-growing.

Though it’s still niche, vegan products are on the rise and may well be in your homes already.
