We’re totally crackers about these ethical Christmas crackers

 in Sustainable Living Tags

We’ve been on the hunt for eco friendly, sustainable Christmas crackers that are made here in the UK.

I think that one of the most fun things about a very British Christmas are definitely the crackers.

A small gift, a joke, a crown and you can be Queen (or King) for the day, along with everyone else.

If you’re very lucky, you might win TWO crowns, but hey, Christmas is about sharing, so do return it to your unlucky neighbour.

1. Keep this Cracker.

I pretty much lose whatever token trinket comes inside crackers by the end of the meal, so these customisable crackers are amazing!

Yet another way to spoil your guests by including an awesome, personal little gift. Plus they are reusable. Win win? YES!

2. Cocoa Loco Christmas Crackers

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Okay okay, there are a few souls who don’t, but now you can have your gift and eat it too.

Santa, snowman, a joke and a hat. Cracker sorted, tummy happy.

3. The Handmade Cracker Company

I love the classy look of these! Plus they’re customisable.

You have a choice of filling which includes seeds, chocolate, mini games, origami and more and if you’re not the hat-and-joke type, there’s an option to leave them out.

4. Nancy and Betty Studio

How cute are these? Kids will go crazy for the fun faces and cute designs.

Handmade in Kent, these eco-friendly crackers are fully recyclable minus the bows which can be repurposed.

Plus they contain plastic-free gifts  which include  origami sets, badges, marbles, crayons and chalks, bouncy balls and more!

5. Kate Sproston Design

Don’t you just love the embroidery on these?

Made out of linen, with six different motifs, you could mix and match or get all of a kind.

Put your own gifts in them and bring them out every Christmas for years to come.
