The blog started in April 2013, covering Blue Patch’s story from the early days when we exhibited members work on a table top at the Lambeth Country Show to our launch performance in September 2014 in Herne Hill Market. Membership grew and Blue Patch held the UK’s First Pop-up Sustainable Department Store in 2016 with 60 brands and 1000 visitors in a day. Our national campaign The Power of Positive Shopping is taking root. We hope you’ll follow our journey as members pop up in stores and showrooms across the country.

Blue Patch blogs on a wide range of topics and events with an ethical, heritage and sustainable focus: interior design, gardening, ethical finance, gift guides, the circular economy, businessguest blogs and the Blue Patch Sustainable Business Awards. We also profile members. Everybody is welcome to participate in making our blog an enjoyable and informative read. Please do contact us if you have something you’d like to share.

STOP PRESS: new in September 2018, the Blue Patch Youth Blog.
